Automatic agent registration

Use Connect agent to authorize inventory reporting without manually entering agent fields. See Connect an agent for setup, selected-file reporting, and recovery.

Track Library adoption by agent

Open Library → Agents → an agent and find Library adoption. Each remote MCP file retrieval records the exact retained-content fingerprint, version when available, and last-served time. Refresh status to see new deliveries. Both Personal and Team workspaces support this view; workspace members can only read agents in their own workspace.

File served means Foo Guard prepared that file for the authenticated agent; it does not prove the client received, installed, or executed it. Reported in latest inventory means the agent’s current self-reported inventory contains the same file kind and content hash. Clearing that inventory removes the match label, while the delivery receipt remains. Manual declarations remain separate.

Tracking begins with this release. Earlier deliveries, browser downloads, local installs and third-party traffic are not reconstructed. The view shows the 100 most recently served file fingerprints. Receipts survive reconnecting to the same agent and disconnecting; deleting the agent removes its receipts. If tracking storage is unavailable, retrieval returns an error and can be retried. No file contents, credentials or local paths are stored in these receipts.

Compare versions before updating agents

A Team config or skill detail page includes Review version changes and agent impact. Choose the current and proposed versions to inspect their retained copies side by side, open each version’s findings, and see agents that declare the current version. Administrator inspection of a draft does not publish or distribute it. Unavailable content is shown explicitly; it is never treated as an empty file. The comparison does not change agents or their declarations.

Agent detail pages provide an Add to agent flow for choosing or uploading a file, reviewing an exact copy, and preparing client instructions. Personal files remain individual retained copies; Team version history and declared-dependency impact apply to Team Library.

Discover tools

Library → Tools is available in Personal and Team workspaces. It shows the existing Gateway server catalog, searchable definitions, new or changed tools, and request counts from loaded retained history. These are server-supplied descriptions, not approval or proof of behavior. Config declarations remain in Configs and are not automatically treated as discovered tools.

Choose Connect a tool server to use Gateway setup, or Manage in Gateway to refresh discovery and review the active selection. Reload inventory fetches the saved catalog; it does not contact the upstream server or invoke tools. View Gateway activity opens routed request history. A disconnected connection may retain its previous inventory, clearly labeled as inactive.

Connect a declared server

Open a config detail page and choose Find tool servers. Foo Guard reads that retained copy and recognizes JSON or YAML mcpServers declarations. Connect in Gateway carries a credential-free HTTPS address into the same workspace’s setup form. Commands, placeholders, URL credentials, query strings and fragments are not transferred. Enter any required authentication in Gateway, confirm authorization, discover tools and review the selection before activation. Existing connections remain active until explicitly replaced. This does not run a local command or install a server.
